| I don't consider myself to be the average woman. My husband has challenged me way beyond what I would have done on my own. And I am stronger today as a result of it. I was born an identical twin in Washington D.C. but we lived in Maryland at the time. My father's line of work had us move every couple of years though, until my partents divorced when we were 10 yrs. old and ended up residing here in the central part of Illinois. |
| About me: I love to hunt...mostly squirrel and dove but I also love the chase of cyote hunting. Least favorite game to hunt would have to be rabbit. I hate it when my prey jumps out in front of me at the last possible minute. Ha I love remodeling work, and my best area is drywalling. Although tearing down a wall is my favorite thing to do. :-) I love to rebuild things and make improvements. Least favorite thing about remodeling work is electrical things....ZAPPED too many times to enjoy it. Hahahhaa Geez..you think I'd learn by now. Ha Although I mostly homeschool my children now, I am still a Private Process Server and Private Investigator and in my spare time, still enjoy doing both very much! Favorite thing in this area is going undercover to catch a theif and they think I'm just an employee. But then again, I love the chase of trying to hunt someone down to try and serve them a summons too. Gosh...am I warped or what? Hobbies and Interests: I'm a copy cat artist and can recreate anything I see, down to the last detail, to any size scale, on just about anything. Although, if you ask me to draw a picture of a bird without being able to see a picture of it, forget it, I can't for some reason. A two year old could draw better than me then. Weird huh! For the last 12 years or so, I've been creating Faberge Eggs from Ostrich eggs to the tiniest quail eggs. My favorite eggs to work with would have to be goose, emu, and Rhea eggs though. Other than Faberge eggs, I also handpaint eggs with elaborate works of art on them, I do some physanky eggs(art of dying eggs), some etching and cutouts as well. I love computer games. Tombraider was my favorite but I've conquered all the levels. I love mohjongg type games of matching tile pieces in order to win. I'm very good at backgammon and ACD as well. I enjoy cooking very much and have made it a habit of trying at least 1-3 new recipes a week, for the last 4 years. I have a collection of over 250 recipes that we consider "keepers" now. We vote at the dinner table to decide whether or not to keep the new recipe. 3 out of 4 thumbs up wins the vote. |
| I'm 39 yrs. old but still feel like I'm in my 20's, and most people would say I act like I'm still in my teens. I still love all the 70's and 80's music and I love to go out with my girlfriends from highschool still. Time sure does fly though. I can't believe I'm as old as I am and hate admitting my age when I don't feel like I should be that old. My body tells me I'm that old so it's a fight between mind and spirit I suppose. Getting white hairs doesn't help though. Hahaha |
| I enjoy the great outdoors, as long as I'm not sweating my butt off. Ha I love to go canoeing and camping but don't get to do that maybe once a year. I love boating and skiing, hydrosliding, repelling, and rock climbing. Don't get to do those often either though. And I love designing websites and working on the computer, learning all I can. I also enjoy graphic programs and mastering them. Jpegs, gifs, whatever...I love playing with pics. Personal Dislikes: I hate bugs, but the worse is if I even see a tic on someone or something, I totally freak out! I've never had one on me yet.....thank God! I think I'd have a heart attack. I hate glitter! Can't stand the stuff to get on me, so my kids like to tease me on that one by threatening me with something they have that has glitter on it. Ha ha kids! Not funny!!! |
