Didn't realize I had recieved the doll a few days ago. My daughter and I opened her today. She's absolutely beautiful. My daughter loves her. (So do I) We took her to dance class today and one of the mom's actually took a picture of the doll. We took her into the store to get milk and two people either asked me how old she was or commented that she was a pretty new baby. The were amazed that she was a doll.
In the next few days I'll send you a picture of my daughter with her. Hopefully I will be able to find a baby picture of when she looked just like that doll.
She smells divine too!

Let me tell you what I did. I strapped little RayAnn into my 2 year old's car seat and took her to work with me at the Animal ER. I had the first of my coworkers come out to the car and see what I had in there. She about knocked me silly when she saw I'd left a "BABY" in the car????? (yesterday it was 90 with bad thunderstorms crashing through just as I got to work) Then I had her take RayAnn out of the car for me. She coudlnt believe how lifelike this little girl is.
Next, Mandy, another coworker came in. By then, RayAnn was in the clinic, wrapped in her blankets and lain neatly on some more blankets ina small treatment cage. Andy and I told Mandy that we found her on the doorstep when we came in . Now I am a terrible liar. she caught me.. But... still thought she was real. I told her that the little one's name was RayAnn... and Mandy was like... so who's little girl is she really? She still thought RayAnn was a real baby.
Finally, our doctor for the week came in. Dr Becky took one look, we told her we found her outside just before the rain hi, she all but opened the door and reached in as she asked if we had called CPS yet!!!!!
So....... I think she's a hit elsewhere as well as in the house. Not in the least is my son, who when I took RayAnn out of her box last night just before leaving for work, he took a look at her and yelled "BABY"! and wanted to hold and cuddle her. He's an only child and loves other children especially babies. When she didn't move or squirm or say anything, he was disappointed, but he still wanted to hold her.
Anyway I wanted you to know how much everyone including her new "mommy" collector loves her and to thank you for being so kind in giving me a chance to bid. Sometimes those of us with new accounts are shut out. I am very glad I wasn't shut out of this bid!!

Had to let you know I just love her!!!! She is smaller than I expected, but she's just lovely. My daughter in law who is a midwife says she is just right. I find I am patting her each time I pick her up, which I might add is quite frequently and I talk to her all the time. My 6 year old grandson is a bit concerned that she won't wake up. Would you believe she arrived on Tuesday? That's pretty darn good from Alaska, I reckon. I am waiting now for a nice "fuller limbed onw with maybe a wig to come up. My husband has his fishing, I have my dolls. thanks again,
