Relinquishing a child to adoption is often one of the most traumatic events of a woman�s life.

Social workers will tell a birthmother that she should go on with her life, and try to forget what happened.

The reality is that most birthmothers don�t  forget! They continue to carry the pain and the emotional scars of losing their child. .

Far too many birthmothers deny the pain of separation from their children, and never discuss that loss with another person.

Why deal with that pain alone?  H.E.A.R.T.S. is a safe haven, where you can talk about your thoughts and feelings, and find the support, understanding and healing that we all need.
