| Ingredients: 2 pounds lean ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 pound processed cheese food, cubed 1 (12 oz) jar sliced jalapeno peppers, drained Fritos or other heavy chips for dipping |
| I found this recipe on anothe web site, allrecipes.com, and it's a great one for cold weather parties! You need a crock or fondue to keep it warm, and then just dig in! |
| Directions: 1.Cook beef and onion in a skillet until beef is evenly brown and onion is soft. Drain. 2. Pour in condensed mushroom soup. 3. Mix in processed cheese cubes andjalepenos. Cook and stir until cheese is melted and all ingredients are well blended, about 10 mnutes. 4.Transfer mixture to a bowl and cill overnight (at least 8 hours) to let flavors blend. 5. Reheat mixture in a crock. You can add about a tablespoon of water if it needs to be thinned. Serve with chips. |
