Dear Kenny:
You're in my heart forever
You're with me every day,
But I'd give anything to hold you,
If only I could have my way.
I never thought I could go on
Without you when you died,
And I tried to understand my guilt
As my pain began to ease inside.
Then, I draw upon your love and feel
Your zest for life each day,
And find it comforting, knowing,
You'd want me to live my life that way.
I know there'll never be a day
Where you're not close at heart,
That I'd wish that things were different
so we'd never be apart.
For you truly were a gift to us
And in my heart you'll stay,
Forever, until we're together again
In the spirit world one day.

Kenny - I love you with all my heart...

Dear Family/Friends
Don't cry away your life for me, for I am with you - you just can't see.
You may not feel my presence from above
But I'm constantly around, embracing you with love.
When you're awake I'm always there - when bedtime comes, your pillow I share.
I know you want me back with you - but, I'm always there, if only you knew.
I hear you talking to me each day, oh, I, too, have so much to say.
My family and friends, you'll always be - you're just a thought away from me.
Your love went with me - I'm not alone.
I can feel your heartbeat, which is now my home.
I know I was loved during my life there with you
And all that you gave continues to see me through.
We were so close, both you and I - Please remember that - not, the good-bye.
Hold on to these thoughts, keep them close at heart
For like you've said, we're never far apart.
There's one last thing I have to say - I feel your love and I'm okay.
So please don't cry away your life for me,
For I am with you - one day, you'll see.

The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears.

If there were no rain, fields would become parched and brittle, and many
creatures would die.
If we could not cry, all our emotions would eventually dry up, too, and soon
we would not laugh either.
Our tears cleanse us.
Our tears heal.
They make us whole.
Tears are as important to our growth as rain is to a flower.
They help release the pressure of sadness so we can feel better.
After a storm, when the sun shines again through the clouds, a brightly
colored rainbow appears.
After our tears, our inner sun shines and rainbows are
      formed from our pain.

My Mom Is A Survivor

My Mom is a survivor, or so I've heard it said.
But I hear her crying at night when all others are in the bed.
I watch her lay awake at night and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I'm with her to help her understand.
But like the sands on the beach that never wash away....
I watch over my surviving mom, who thinks of me each day.
She wears a smile for others....a smile of disguise.
But through Heaven's door I see tears flowing from her eyes.
My mom tries to cope with death to keep my memory alive.
but anyone who knows her knows it is her way to survive.
As I watch my mom through Heaven's open door,
I try to tell her that angels protect me for evermore.
But I know that doesn't help her or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...and show her that you care.
For no matter what she says...no matter what she feels,
My surviving mom has a broken heart that time won't ever heal~!
