Tracy Walker
Photo by Reggie Law Tracy Walker is a graduate of Edgewood College, in Madison, Wisconsin, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music and Theatre Production & Design. Her primary instrument of study in Music is French Horn, with clarinet, trumpet, and percussion as her secondary instruments. Enjoying a wide variety of music, Tracy has performed with such groups as The Aiken Brass, The Mendota Brass, various groups at Edgewood College including the Campus-Community Band, the Jazz and Wind Ensembles, The Red Hot Horn Dawgs and is currently with The Atomic Horns. As an actress, Tracy has appeared in many productions on both academic and community theatre stages. Most notably are her performances as Reverend Mother Sister Mary Regina in Nunsense with Patter Productions; Naomi in Naomi in the Living Room at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; Miss Thorn/Ms. Block in Ruthless! and Ernestina Money in Hello, Dolly! at the Oak Ridge Community Playhouse; Sister Joan in The Edgewood College Story: A Musical, as well as roles in Cabaret, The Most Massive Woman Wins, The Vagina Monologues, Smash the Beautocracy!, Water Cooler and more on the Edgewood College Regina Theatre stage. On the production end, Tracy was the Props Manager for The King and I, and Sound Designer for the 2006 Oak Ridge Community Playhouse production of Steel Magnolias, and was the Sound Designer and Assistant Light Designer for the 2004 Regina Theatre's production of The Laramie Project. Having appeared in feature films and commercials, Tracy's main interest is theatrical work. An experienced Graphic Designer, some of Tracy's favorite projects have been designing and maintaining websites for various businesses and organizations. Past and present clients include the University of Wisconsin Marching Band, The Grumpy Troll Brew Pub, The Aiken Brass, The Red Hot Horn Dawgs, and The Atomic Horns. Tracy and her husband Bill reside in Oak Ridge, Tennessee where they own Isthmus Audio Recording Studio. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Rebecca and Sarah, and are tolerated by their cats Sasha and Toby, their pot-bellied dachshund Max, and Mabel the wonder dog. To email Tracy, click here.
