Julie Stelter

Julie Stelter is a well-known and highly respected, talented actress and singer.  Some of her most recognized roles include:  Judy Denmark in Ruthless! (for which the Oak Ridger Newspaper gave her a glowing review:  "Put your hands together for Stelter.  She skillfully walks the tightrope, able to play both comedic and dramatic!"), Grace in Annie, The Exercise Instructress in The Women, Domina in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (all at the Oak Ridge Playhouse); the featured soloist and various dramatic roles in We Shall Overcome! (Knox County Martin Luther King, Jr. festivities); Mrs. Upsome in Mame, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, (both at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville) and is currently appearing in Honky Tonk Angels in Ooltewah.  For a number of years, Julie originated many comic and musical roles as a featured player at the famous Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and had a recurring comic role on television's I-40 Paradise on the Nashville Network.

An accomplished vocalist even away from the theatrical stage, Julie was once the Lead Singer in the Bobby Lopez Band in Denver, Colorado, and had numerous roles at the West Gate Dinner Theater in Toledo, Ohio.

Though her theatrical and vocal endeavors keep her busy, Julie is a fitness instructor and personal trainer, but is never too busy to spend time with her family -- her husband, Bob, and their beautiful daughter, Callie.
