Pawprints is hosting a 3-day USDAA trial, including Local Grand Prix (Championship and Performance levels)and Steeplechase qualfiers. The trial is being held at River Point Racing and Equestrian Center, 1101 River Bend Road, Haughton, Louisiana. Their telephone number is (318) 390-8130. The arena is covered with a packed dirt surface. Ample parking is available. Fixed restrooms are on site. There are some RV sites available--Contact Allen Fox at River Point for more information.
Premiums will only be mailed upon request. You may also request a test schedule in MS Word format by e-mail attachment by contacting Patt.

From I-20 West (Texas) :
Go east on I-20, through Shreveport/Bossier City. Take Exit #26 (I-220 Racetrack). Take Exit 17A (79/80). Go left on North 79/East 80. Get in the right hand lane. Travel 1.3 miles. Go through one set of stop lights and a caution light. At the next stop light, turn right on Bodcau Station. (Note: McDonald's is on the left. The road on the left reads Bellevue, but the road on the right is Bocau Station.
Follow the curving asphalt road through a residential area, approximately 1.1 miles. You will go past a large mobile home community on your left. Further down the road, there will be a River Point sign to your right. Turn right at the sign and descend to the test site. You will see a practice horse track on your left and a small lake on your right. Facility is the second building on the left at the bottom of the hill.
From I-220 West (Texas): Go east on I-220, past Shreveport/Bossier City. Take Exit 17A (79/80 Racetrack) and follow above directions to site.
From I-20 East (Mississippi and Monroe): Go west on I-20 to exit 26 (I-220 By-Pass). Take Exit 17A (79/80) and follow the above directions to site.
From I-49 South (Southern Louisiana):Take I-49 north to I-20. Go east on I-20 and follow above directions.
