My friend Jo Shwartz wrote this poem. It touched me very much and I thought I would let you all share in her thoughts.

As i sit here at my place of work My mind starts to wander in its little quirk I gaze out the window into the glare And think of ICQ and all the friends I have there
My friends, they come from far and wide from east and west and every side of the world so small, it's not so big nestling into my heart and soul they dig.
Some so special, some so plain some so happy, some in pain I hear all of what they say to me for they're my friends, will always be
Some of them I hope to meet and see them on their own two feet A great big smile planted on my face As I meet them in a special place
They've opened their homes and opened their hearts to me, a stranger from the very start "Oh come to our land" they often say "to our home for a nice long stay"
I thank them all each and every one For when my busy day is done I sit back, reflect, and know this for sure That I am loved and my friendships shall endure
Thank you my friends, at ICQ This much I can say to you Your've warmed my heart and touched my soul And to love you all is my lifelong goal
Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled that flame
