Hi Terry....This recipe came from my mother.....Elaine has always used pecans
instead of the almonds....which mom always used....both, melt in your mouth.

PECAN CRESCENTS

1/2 c butter
1/2 c shortening
1/3 c sugar
2/3 c ground pecans
1 1/3 c flour
1/4 t salt

Mix all together & chill dough.  Shape into 1/2" thick rolls....cut into 2" long pieces.
Shape into crescents.

Bake on ungreased sheet 325* till set  (12--15 min).
While warm, roll in a combination of 1 c conf sugar 1 t cinnamon.

these are supurb.......delicious.
