Lampang has been very famous for the pottery of the northern part of Thailand for fourty four years. The first pottery factory was established by Mr. Sinyu Saechin and Mr. Silkim Saekwok . Sine they had produced the pottery for a while they got the new invester named Mr. Tekchiang Saehan who invested twenty thousand bath in the year of twenty five thousand B.E. by the name of Jharoen Muang Factor. The produced bowls (losster band) to the capitalist and the name of the factory was changed to Satean Raparb Factory.

In Lampang, there are two hundred ceramic factories have been registered five of them are the big factoriesfifty of the less are the middle factories .
