Homebrew feedback
I've sent homebrew to a variety of people around the US, Canada, India and Australia.  It's been a fun process and the feeback has been great.  So, given that people all have their own preferences, what has the feedback been on my beers from BA?  Below are some examples

Nov 11th, 2008 - Goliath
Not too long after I recieved your package I cracked into one of the barrel aged American barleywines and rally enjoyed it.  I've been waiting to send my verdict until I tried the English barleywine though, and it just so happens that I cracked it tonight.  I'm on my second small snifter full, and I am completely in love.  You sir, are a talended brewer and I wanted to say thanks for the bottles.  It's been a while since I've had a barleywine I've enjoyed sa much as these.  This has been a real treat and a great experience.  Let me know if you brew up another masterpiece, I'd gladly trade commercial beers for it.

October 2008 - Overlord
pours a murky orange brown.  Just a thin white crust, no real head ( for mre than a moment or two).  appereance probably the only thing that isn't superlative about it.

smells magnificent.  this is going to be good!  Rich with overripe fruits, malt, and ...citrus?... smels fantastic.  A bit of woodsy / oakiness in the smell.  What kind of barrel did you use?

Taste is explosive!  So many overlapping flavors... a bit of sweeter citrus and tropical notes.. that big overriding sweet fruit and malt flavor..and a nice aftertase with maybe a bit of gentle hops  (can't be sure).  The hint of oakiness in the smell really comes through much stronger in the flavor.  It overlays everything and gtives it a very nice texture.

Fantastic!  Mouthfeel is nice and chewy for the style.  I want more!

Looks 3.5
Aroma 4.5
flavor 5.0
Mouthfeel 4.0
drinkability 4.0

I finally got a chance to try your homebrew last Sunday with a friend of mine who homebrews.  We both thought your brew was of premium commercial level - quite frankly we have never had a beer of that style which was better (bourbon barrel aged barleywine).  Thanks so much for sending this!

April 9th, 2008 - DIM
My buddy and I finally tried your bourbon infused RIS.  We compared it blindly wiht Bluegrass' BA stout.  We should have used some stiffer competition.  The bluegrass tasted like smoke nad wood, it was pretty bland.  Yours on the other hand struck a great balance betwee what was clearly a super chocolately RIS and nice little bourbon burn.  Thanks again for the chance to try another one of your stellar brews!  Cheers and keep up the good work
