Two 3rds The Fun

Players In The Third Round.

The 3rd Round is where a lot of chances are taken. I think you’ll see a lot of RB who should have been taken in the 2nd will be taken here. These picks will probably be traded if the Pats move into the Top 11.  I think they will have to give one or both of their picks in the third, if they want to get into the Top Ten and grab Sullivan. There will be several interest LB and G/C and O-Tackle who could help this team.

Bradie James – What player has made the most tackles in the Belichick Defense over the past 2 years? Bradie James – 260 tackles including 147 last season. He has a reputation of making the Bid Play when his team needs it, and is team leader.

Lee Suggs – Knee injury took away some speed, but was still running 4.4 in the off-season. Ran for 1325 yards, averages 5.2 ypc and had 22 TDs

Terry Peirce – Great middle LB who ran a terrible 40 time 4.94. He has the size interests and stats Belichick likes, and Pats need. An inside backer to start next to Bruski.

Justin Fargus- Tested out better then any RB in this draft, but has huge injury concerns. He broke his leg in 1998 and it never healed correctly. He's had to have 3 surgeries on that leg! But then he goes a runs an amazing 4.28 at 6-1 and 218 pounds. Could be steal of the draft or could be a heart breaker who never makes it through a season healthy. He only rushed for 715 yards his final season at USC, which was his best season.

Jarret Johnson – He is a Belichick player. Hustler, self-started, tough, never gives up. May have to play a 3-4 end and he will play in NFL. Lacks top Athletics but maximized his abilities every game.

Vince Manuwai – May be moved to Center in Pro’s. Belichick has been searching for an interior lineman for this team. He would be a steal in the third. His lack of height and experience may cause him to drop into the 3rd; or his toughness, quickness, and meaness could carry him into the 2nd.

Justin Gage – Would be a steal of the draft in the 3rd. Pats may take him if they stay at 50. Played Basketball at Missouri so he had not committed completely to football in college. Ran a 4.5 at 6-4, 218 lbs. Great athlete who is still getting better. I think he would be perfect for the Pats.
