Well as we near the end of yet another year it's time to look back and  wonder where the fcuk did the year go?!  At St. Pat's it's been a year  full  of fun and frolics and frequently skipping lectures!  Wednesday nights  were  filled with Boomerangs and lots of drunken fumbles which I just heard  about  and was never a part of! (Ugh as if I'd fumble Pat's boy!) The usual  gossip  went around the college, including, Second years caught plagiarising,  Post  Grads playing desperados while in Carraroe and First years complaining  about  exam hints! I've seen it all now!
Across the smoke-free small canteen my eyes were opened this year to  see  that there is life outside the typical Pats lads.  The best way to  avoid  them is to avoid the small canteen and stay away from that small room  where  the boys like to frequent to have private meetings with the other boys.   Often shouts of joy and whipping noises are heard coming from it.  Ever  wondered why the boys always close the door after themselves when they  go in  and out!?
The Students Union did a great job this year.  They were really on top  of  things and had lots of events planned for everyone! Brendan did an  excellent  job and the atmosphere was always great on the themed weeks and on  nights  out.  Well done to all involved! Hope next year will be just as  successful,  although Im not too sure if I agree to allowing the same officer keep  their  same position.  Give the rest of the students a fair chance!
So heres to a fantastic academic year gone by and wishes that the next  will  be just as good! Hope everyone did some crazy things this year and  tried out  some new things! For me, the best thing was knowing a lot more people  this  year having done the "Carraroe Experience" last summer! Well thats all from me for now! Ill return soon with some gossip for  all  you guys and gals! Rock on Pats!
