So i'm on my way home from school the other day, and an advertisement about the election comes on (imagine that)
But this wasn't about Bush, Kerry, or any of the other presidential hopefuls (or unhopefuls at this point ROLFLAO!!)

This, was a bigger topic. Get this...
Did you know, in the last election, there were over 100,000 votes in Ohio thrown out, because people couldn't figure out the punch-card ballots, thus, the votes were half-complete.
Half-complete votes = worthless (apparently)

Now, let's be honest here, I haven't voted before. I mean, I voted for Ankerman to be homcoming king, but he didn't win, and my vote didn't amount to anything. (A good way our school is teaching us to care about modern-day society) You vote for things, then they lose.
I feel like shit.

The commercial went on to explain the voting process so all those votes weren't thrown out again.
Here's what you do: (since more people will read this then they will listen to a political commercial on the radio)
1. Place your ballot in the scanner
2. Punch out the hole for your choice (i.e. if you're voting for Bush, hit the hole next to Bush's name)
3. Place your vote in the slot designated.

This sounds like something I could do with my eyes close, while eating apples (I don't like apples, so i'd be throwing up and voting at the same time, but not screwing it up, either)
So how is it possible that 100,000+ votes were thrown out? It didn't take me long to point the blame at senior citizens
I was reading a magazine in Grudich's class one day, and they had an article/pictures about different methods of voting. In the picture, there was a lady showing some senior citizens how to vote on a touch-screen. Since that picture was also in Florida, then you know that those people also screwed up the votes anyways.
This is why senior citizens shouldn't be allowed to do certain things, mainly voting and driving. Do you know how many times i've been driving behind a slow-moving vehicle, and oh, guess what, it's a senior citizen. One almost hit me the other day. Moron. If they're not screwing up elections, then they're trying to assinate webpage royalty.
