| Ever wonder what the most pointless thing in the world is? If you happened to ask me anytime before the month of December, I probably would have mentioned something like horoscopes, Matrix movies, and who could forget - Africa. That was until I started hearing a lot more about movies. Often times, when you hear an advertisement on the radio for a movie - they'll name off what sort of awards this movie has been nominated for the upcoming awards show. Just the other day I was in the shower listening to the radio (I can do that - because when I take showers - my iPod stays in my room...too bad none of you can do that when you're in school, huh?) That's a good point. Why does anyone bring their iPod to school? Maybe to show off that they're sweet, and can afford such a thing. Or maybe they just want it stolen...well, either way, let my website show that I have an iPod - I just dont want to take it to school to show off in math class, okay? Getting back to the original point though..Did you know that "The Lord of the Rings: Boring/Long story pt. 4" is up for 18 Grammy's? This makes me want to see it, because The Grammys dictate whether or not a movie is good. It includes this panel of "movie critics" - you know, those people that get payed to watch movies and voice their opinions. I think that'd be a cool job - when I grow up, im gonna go to malls and such and watch people try on clothes. When they come out to show their friends their new outfit, i'll tell them how stupid the clothes look on them, so I can: A) Make people feel bad B) Influence your life with my opinions - even though i'm a stranger I especially hate when Newspaper try and rate movies. Look what the New York Times said about The Aviator (the "movie" with Leo D.) "visually sumptuous if disappointingly hollow" What the hell does that mean? Thanks New York, that was almost comprehendable - then it wasn't. Who even knows what the Grammys are? They're an award show - but no one knows what they do. What's the difference between them and the Teen Choice Awards? They both hand out awards to movies you like if you have the dullest taste in entertainment. Except with the Teen Awards - you can count on an appearance by Kobe, because he's a good role model (after he finishes raping you) |
