-When Jim Was young he noticed at a young age that he could make funny faces of famous people.
-For years Jim Carrey was the class clown maling all the kids laugh. Although the teachers all thought he was really rude.
-Jim Carrey became very good with one teacher and they made an agreement. If Jim did all his work and behaved he could put on a comedy act at the end of the day.
-Soon there whole family had to drop out of school so they could make some money for the family becasue they were in having some money problems.
-Dropped out of school at the age of 15 so he could help his parents make some money because they were having some trouble.
-After Percy (Jim Carrey's dad) lost his job they had no place to live and ended up living in an old beat up yellow voltswagon.
-He left in the 9th grade and became a janator.
-He perfromed at comedy bars at a young age and soon he was doing comedy in places all over.
-Rodney Dangerfield saw him perform and he was very impressed with all the talentJim had.
-His original family name was Carr'e (Its french)
-Jim's first movie was a made-for-tv film called "Introducing Janet". This film took place in Canada. The movie was about a character named tony who wanted to be a comedian. Although this movie sounds funny, it was a drama.
-He currently lives in Brentwood, California.
