BILLIARD
I love to play pool, especially 9-ball.  I have been playing pool seriously for 2 years in a pool hall near my Canada home, called Le Skratch.

From the summer of July 1998, I started to hang out in Skratch.  It was a wonderful time being there - playing pool, meeting some nice girls and having my favorite drinks (especially two for one in happy hours from 1600 - 1900)

Pool is actually a serious sport.  I started to take course from House Pro Steve Doucet at that time.  Then I participated in tournamentts.  The best achievement was winning the runner-up prize in a class B tournament.  I lost to my friend, Patrick Gosselin 7-6 (damn!!!)  I was in Skratch almost everyday.  I could find different players there.  The one that I played the most was Claudel (his nickname for me to call was "Del Del").  He taught me a lot of tricks and theories.  I improved a lot playing with him and all other great players there.  I was for one year, a tournament director.  I went to other Skratches in Montreal area to organize tournaments from Class B to AA in year 2000.

I have met some great players too,  The most memorable for me was Francisco Bustamente (one of the world champions), Alex Pagulayan, Corey Deuel, Alain Martel, Denny Hewitt (now the House Pro)... etc.

I always missed to play pool cause there was not many chances to play in Hong Kong.  Only snooker was popular here (well!  an ex-Bristish colony).  I always hope that I can play pool more often!!!
