"Imagination is more important than knowledge.." - Einstein
I think the secret ingredient of genius is the imagination that lets all kinds of interesting connections get made. It was Einstein's daydream of riding on a beam of light, that started him on the path of groundbreaking scientific discoveries. It was Edison's brilliant, exploring mind that gave us all kinds of "bright" inventions (including the light bulb.)
It's an archeologist's imagination that sorts their knowledge and gives us a picture of what ancient cultures were like. Imagination is what lets us speculate on the past; envision possibilities for the future; explore new ideas and travel to different realms.
My imagination shapes a lot of my art. It lets me tap into common archetypes that connect with people on a subconscious level. I don't want to just paint for the eyes, I want to create art that connects with your soul. - Patricia Robin Woodruff |
