Course Description:   Provides an intensive study of the fundamentals of direct and alternating current, resistance, magnetism, inductance and capacitance, with emphasis on practical applications.

Course Objectives:    

·         The student should gain an understanding of the basic theory, circuits and devices common to all electrical trades through the use of lecture, AV presentations, written work and frequent laboratory exercises.

·         The student should develop the theoretical and practical foundation necessary for understanding any area of the electrical trade.
