Course Description: Provides an intensive study of the fundamentals of direct and alternating current, resistance, magnetism, inductance and capacitance, with emphasis on practical applications.

Objectives:

student should gain an understanding of the basic theory, circuits and devices
common to all electrical trades through the use of lecture, AV presentations,
written work and frequent laboratory exercises.
