To stop any automatic payroll deduction from your pay (such as dues to a membership organization you might currently belong to), please follow these steps:

1.

Contact your payroll office to stop payment to the organization/company. You may be required to put the request in writing.

2.

As a courtesy, call the organization/company to inform them that you have formally stopped their automatic payroll deduction.
