Peoria, Illinois
June 1st to June 10th

We headed to Peoria first, for a number of reasons. First, it was one of our closest destinations. Second, Kristen wanted to spend some quality time with family and friends. Third, we really needed to unload some of our stuff. When it comes to packrats like us, you tend to have a lot of things you really don't need. So we stored a bunch of boxes in Kristen's parents' basement and then set up for a garage sale that weekend, which was quite a success. The rest of the week passed by pretty quickly, spending time with as many people as we could.
Kristen's Aunt Judy and Mom, lounging around during the garage sale...apparently we weren't packed with customers at that point in time.
Kristen's Dad and Uncle Dick, during another high point of the day.
Uncle Dick liked looking at the scrapbooked pages...or so he pretended for Kristen's sake, anyway.
Aunt Judy wanted a picture with her "boyfriend," as she likes to refer to James. They are a pretty cute couple, don't you think?
The next generation of Stewart cousins: Sadie (Sheila's daughter) and Chandler (Lyn's) squished together on the chair with one of Chandler's friends. All of Kristen's cousins have kids these days, or so it seems.
Panera's With The Girls
On the last morning of our stay in Peoria, Kristen met Aunt Judy, Sheila, Sadie, and her mom at Panera's (Uncle Dick was there, too, but he had to leave for work before we took pictures).
