Kellerman, Faye 2 : Milk & Honey - 8-99 Stereotypic - Men are chauvinists with no self control - women are dishrags and an angry, arrogant black man to boot! Give me a break!
Kellerman, Jonathan 3 : The Clinic - 4-99 -Who cares what all these people are wearing? Milo and Alex have the same voice; so you can't tell who's talking. 4 : Dr Death - 2-01 Excellent! Meeting Alex and Milo again was like coming home. Kellerman doesn't cheat; all the clues are there.
King, Stephen 5 : The Dead Zone - R - 12-00 A masterpiece. When I raised my head from it the world seemed crude and I was homesick. At one point it made me laugh so hard I couldn't continue reading! My favorite King novel. 5 : The Tailsman (with Peter Straub) R - 1-99 My second, (tied with The Dead Zone,) favorite novel of all time. From funny and terrifing, this novel takes you through the entire spectrum. R - 12-01 This novel gets better every time I read it. The wonderful game of literary tennis, (I blew up your train, now what are you going to do?) is immensely entertaining! These two master storytellers give such depth to this non-stop action that you can find something new to love every 4 : Different Seasons - R - 7-99 Lost 1 point for Apt Pupil. 5 : Green Mile - 2-97, R - 1-00 3 : Wizard and Glass - The Dark Tower IV - 12-98 He reused too many old tricks and devices. -2 : The Storm of the Century - 7-99 -Not his best work. 5 : Bag of Bones - 10-99 -Beautifully written - makes you smile. To say Mike is overly forgetful is a huge understatement. 4 : The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon - 1-01 -Spellbinding - too real - BUT, the bear was used before in the Dark Tower Series. 5 - Hearts in Atlantis - 2-01 -My heart sank when I first read the reference to The Beam, (from the Dark Tower series,) but it did not interfere with the story's uniqueness. King slowly takes you to the depths of despair, then pulls you out with a melancholy, satisfying ending. (What ever happened to Willie?) 3 - Dreamcatcher - 1-02 -This book was once again beautifully written, but the entire "shit weasel" and farting sequences could have been left out. It's as if he made a bet with, say Dave Barry, that he could write a book about farts and make it a best seller, (which it was!) With those parts removed it would have been a much faster moving and better novel, but who am I to second guess King. 5 - Black House - 9-02 -See Straub
King, Charles 2 : Dead Calm Very compelling, but horribly flawed throughout.
