Notes:
Ann Bushell was presented with a large illustrated Bible in 1876,
at the age of 8 years old,
by her father.
He could not afford to buy the entire bible at once,
so he bought it in weekly installments over a long period of time,
and when the entire Bible was finally finished being purchased,
he had it bound in leather,
which weighed about 20 pounds when it was finished,
so presumably the 8 year old child could not even lift it up.
As Ann Bushell married Charles Dolman,
this has become known as the Dolman family Bible,
and has many of the family births, marriages, and deaths recorded in it.
It was handed down to Victor William Dolman,
and then later upon his death,
it was handed down to Jim Dolman.
