General Guidelines:
-school and classroom rules are to be followed at all times
-all work is to be done in pencil
-late assignments will not receive full credit
-notes are to be kept in the marble-backed notebook in the proper format
Assignments:
-points will be deducted for the following reasons:
-no name
-illegible
-messy
-incomplete
Homework:
-any assignment not turned when it is due will reduce a student�s homework point bank (100 points per trimester) by 5 points and will receive an infraction
-all work is to be shown in the marble-backed notebook
Tests and Quizzes:
-quizzes (less than 100 points) will not always be announced
-tests (100 points) will be announced at least one week in advance
Absence:
-student must see me for make-up work
-students are responsible for copying missed notes from a classmate
-one day to make up assignments for each day a student is out
-all outstanding assignments are due the day the student returns
-we will collect work for any student who is out
Band:
-please see me for missed work before the next class period
-students are responsible for copying missed notes from a classmate
-one day to complete missed work
Grading:
-based on tests, quizzes, classwork, homework, and class participation
-average of points earned divided by points possible
