Patiala is a city which has a soul. A few days we are reading an article in the Tribune regularly in which there was a debate going on as to why people call Chandigarh a 'City without Soul'. On the contrary, for Patiala, I must say that it is a City whose soul is always ticking!! A city with a glorious past and a modern present! A place where the new World order easily blends with the old charm. Patiala has all the charms of a modern city while retaining cultural and social values wherein a neighbour is still concerned with the welfare of another neighbour and not that he reads in the newspapers if a misfortune befalls the neighbour.
To Patialvis and to the administration, my appeal is to keep our city clean and also since Patiala has become a corporation now, I appeal to the administration to improve facilities in new colonies such as roads and drainage/sewerage.
