Landy Lee �Fuzz� Lusk

Amherstdale WV � Landy Lee �Fuzz� Lusk 69, of Amherstdale, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 25, 2007, from Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born June 19, 1938, at Lundale, he was a son of the late Ray and Lula Bailey Lusk. Also preceding him in death was four brothers, Curtis, Frenchie, Lacy and Wannie Lusk, and his beloved granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Lusk.

Landy was a disabled coal miner, formerly employed with Elkay Mining Company. He was a member of the Pathway Church of God at Christian. He enjoyed his flower garden, his grandsons and having family and church members around.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years. Vonnie Adaline Ferrell Lusk; two children, Richard �Smiley�(Beverly) Lusk of Trace Fork and Kathy (Roger Thompson) Lusk of Mallory; two grandsons who were his pride and joy, Alan Joe Lusk of Amherstdale, who he raised as his own son. And Nathan Richard Lusk of Trace Fork; one sister, Barbara (Jim) Spears of Heath, Ohio; one step-sister, Debra (Robie) Waugh of Robinette; many nieces and nephews; one very special niece, Karen Woods of Man and her daughter, B.J. Beaty of Stowe, who was like his own granddaughter.

A celebration of his new life with Christ will be conducted at 1 pm Sunday, July 29, at The Pathway Church of God with the Rev. Harrison Williamson and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Collins, Danny Ball, Spot Toler, Billy Brown, Freddy Wingler, Larry Woods, Jamie Lusk, Larry Toler and Aubrey Lusk. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Baldwin, James Lusk, Wannie Ray Lusk, Doug Lusk, Jason Beaty and David Booth.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Saturday at the church where special services will be held at 7 pm. And visitation will also be held 1 hour prior to services Sunday.
