Evening glow from Mt. Fuji

This picture has been taken from the 5th station of Mr. Fuji. At that time, I and some old friends from Fukuoka went to climb Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain and symbol of Japan. We started to climb at about 7pm and arrived the mountaintop at about 5am.

Evening glow of western Phuket

I took this picture when I visited Phuket, Thailand in the first time in January 2001. I and Kayoko rent a car and go though every beach of western Phuket. We spent 6 days there.

Sunset at Phromthep cape (Phuket)

These two pictures have been taken from Phromthep cape. This place is the most famous sunset viewpoint in Phuket. Phromthep cape is located at the southern most point of Phuket.

Sunset at Hirosaki Castle Park

This picture has been taken in May 2002. It was my first visit to Hirosaki Castle Park in Aomori prefecture. Sakura at Hirosaki Castle Park is one of the most famous Sakura viewpoint in Japan. Usually, the best time to visit Hirosaki Castle Park is in the beginning of May.

Sunset at Lake Towada

Lake Towada serves as a symbol of Tohoku region (Northeast) of Japan. These three pictures has been taken when I visited Tohoku in May 2002. You can see the sinking steps of sun from these picture.

Sunset at Japanese Sea

These two pictures have been taken from Ferry between Hokkaido and Kyoto. Compared with Airplane or Train, Ferry is more cheaper although it takes longer time (between 20-30 hours). Despite of consuming time, we can see the sinking sun at Japanese Sea from Ferry. This scene provides a different feeling.
