PRO'S AND CON'S OF HYDROGEN FUEL
Pro's:  The hydrogen fueled engine produces no form of pollution what so ever.  Made through electrolosis by using electricity produced by solar panels and wind power.  No carbon is present in the hydrogen fuel, so no greenhouse gasses are produced either, and what results is clean clear water dripping slowly out of the tailpipe. The cost of the hydrogen fuel is also a gain for everyone who is tired of un-godly gas prices.  Hydrogen, being the most abundant element on earth, meaning that it is not a limited source (we can have a hydrogen field day). I personally beleive that hydrogen fuel would be great because of how we would no longer have to depend on annoying countries for fossil fuel supplies.  The hydrogen fueled car could also lead to other breakthroughs, such as home-heating and could be used in appliances and other machinery.

Con's:  Despite the abundance of hydrogen, it is very expensive to store, generate, handle, and requires gigantic tanks to hold it in.  Storing hydrogen at the required very cold temperature is possible by having what is called a metal-hydride absorber, which regulates internal pressure but is very expensive.  Transportation of the fuel would also be an issue, because of the danger in which could occur if a vehicle was to crash with a hydrogen tank on board.  With all this, the hydrogen fuel is not fully backed by government support and money for research, which as we all know makes a breakthrough such as this a hard task to fullfill. As of right now, a key building block in our economy is that of fossil fuels, as our economic infastructure is very dependent on it.
