A blog on Indian tiger safari, sightings and tour. Tiger its habit and habitats. The status of tiger and tiger news..
Tiger Film

A large number of films have been made on the tiger. My best film is the "Land of The Tiger" by filmed Belinda Wright and Stanley Breeden. It is produced by The National Geographic Society.

This film on the tiger is a treat it has the poetic picturisation of the charismatic animal tiger and protrays the tiger country romance that is so evident to any one who has roamed the Indian wilderness.

The film is so aptly concieved that in one view it delivers more about the tiger and its habitat then plethora of books on tiger could do. The film has highlighted the plight of the tiger and paradoxically made Kanha Tiger Rerseve famous as a tiger destination - not that it was unkown any way.   Kanha is by all means the finest wildlife preserve in India and the world by large. It is an epitome of amzing bio diversity that characterize Indian wilderness.

Bandhavgarh has fair share of tigers being filmed the the one on the tigress Sita again by The National Geographic Society of India is a very good film.

Similiar film should be made in Pench Tiger Reserve for wildlife tiger lovers who would like to know more about the status of tigers in all reserves and forests of India.

These films have helped the tiger safari operators and Indian travel agents as well as other eco tourism industry like wildlife resorts, camps and hotel that have seen an increased traffic flow.

The films have created great awareness about the tiger and has helped bring its plight into the open to the world.
