 Well just starting this blog on tigers. More will come later infact much more about tigers and my experiences with them... . In days gone by the endangered tiger is still facing extinction. Many efforts are being made to increase tiger numbers in India. But it seems it is a loosing battle.

If you visit Kanha and Bandhavgarh or Pench then the picture does not appear so bleaks. But apart from being tiger sighting places in India the National Parks  are the hub of tiger conservation and have succeeded in providing a safe sanctuary to the animal.

Not all tourist at Kanha or Bandhavgarh know of this activity. More engrossed they are in bird watching and watching tigers and other animals of Indian Wildlife. 

Tiger tourisn is picking up as more and more vsistors wish to see the endangered bengal tiger. Ecotourism in India revolves around the tiger which is the most charismatic predator on Earth.
