¨ Meeting Minutes - A Patch of Lakeshore Quilters - Guild Meeting Feb 8 2007 ¨ ¨ - President Colleen Ansbaugh called meeting to order at 6:45. ¨ - Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ¨ ¨ - Speaker: Carol Butzke gave a lecture about how quilts are judged at quilt shows. ¨ - Quilt Show: ¨ * Sign up for the quilt walk took place tonight. Please use quilts that are not in the show for your store ¨ window. Decorate windows 2 to 3 weeks before the quilt show. The duties at the quilt show were xplained and ¨ the sign up sheet for the work schedule was available. Fabric for the Challenge is still available ¨ at Quilts and Silks and Norman General Store. There are now over 300 quilts registered. Category ¨ A is now closed. All raffle money is due by the March meeting. Please bring your silent auction ¨ donations to the March meeting. Ribbons for thw winning qults were displayed. Vivian Wendorf and ¨ Nancy Bauhs made the ribbons. The following items are needed during the show - easels, shop lights, ¨ ladders and extension cords. Yard signs are available to be displayed. Postcards announcing the show ¨ are available to be sent out. ¨ * Alzheimer's Quilt: Information available from Coleen Ansbaugh. ¨ * Quilts of Valor: The board of directors has approved the reimbursement of the cost of batting ¨ and postage to anyone who quilts these quilts. $200.00 has been approved for the first year ¨ with adjustments to be made as needed. Motion to approve - Charlotte Endries. Seconded - ¨ Audrey Bean. Motion approved by guild.
