Right now John is doing very well with his movement after the surgery. The doctor says that his range of motion is better than they expected it to be. But John is still is a lot of pain, which is making him reconsider letting them fix the other shoulder. Right now it is just wait and see--there is no telling if the surgery was successful at this point, but we are hoping for the best. It has been a little difficult for John to learn how to use his left arm for things--the first few days of going to the bathroom were interesting to say the least. We will try to keep you updated on how John is doing and we appreciate everyone's support and concern through this--it has definitely been a challenge.
