Last Saturday..
I discovered something.
Something so rare, I couldn't believe it. ;)

YOU to stick around.
I'll see you everyday.
But you have to follow through.
YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THROUGH.

But to me, your pupils are crayoned copper.
(That is, if there's such a crayon.)
On your irises are line-flecks in silver.
And when you smile,
Your eyes become even more lustrous.
Just like the precious, famed pearls of the South Seas.
Similar to these vast oceans,
You seem distant.
A little too close to her
And a lot too far from me.
If only you would remove
Your resting platonic arm
(Where?)
Around my poor shoulders.
You would realize that our eyes match.
I just wish that you wouldn't have
A difficult time
Differentiating the same lustrous glow our pupils share.
Because as you start to show off
Your shimmering gaze,
Heavy tears start to well from my tired eyes.
And mind you,
Like fraternal twins,
both our irises emit similar brilliance When we look towards each other.

Belated Happy Birthday to Pet Esguerra! Happy Birthday to Darl Casim! :)And it doesn't matter if it didn't last long.
It doesn't matter if we spent almost 5 hours together.
And the soft drizzle helped the moment ease.
Thanks.
For offering to pay.
For wanting to come.
For being THERE.
For being you.
It was almost too perfect.
Never mind the distractions.
As long as I'm with you, what else could possibly go wrong?

Belated Happy Birthday to Ian Torralba, MY DADDY!, Greggy Chua, Timothy Mercado, JP Rivera, Victor Cayco, Luica Dacanay and Ino Alampay! Happy Birthday to Es Barbacena and Yummy Santos! :)Saturday, October 14, 2006
Belated Happy Birthday to Darryl Toledo, Leala Fernandez and Pia Miraflores! :)Dad and friends: Nakikita mo ba yan?
Manager: Sir..
Dad and friends: Magbabayad kami, naiintindihan namin ang sitwasyon niyo. Hindi namin isusumbong o ikakalat ang nangyari, pero sana naman, sa susunod blah blah.
The restaurant then gave out a gazillion more dishes. And absurd as it may be, my father and his friends still went there. The second time they are around, the dishes were still almost free. And I mean 'almost free' as something that they were willing to pay but their money was 'not that accepted'.
It's a weird case of paying it forward. Because if I was in that situation, I would definitely demand my money back and never go to that place again. My dad's really one helluva nice man.
I love you daddy! Advance Happy 56th Birthday! :)
