Megan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2006 and is working as a social worker for Allegheny County Children, Youth, and Families. She is also in the University of Pittsburgh's Master of Social Work program. Her favorite pastimes include country line dancing with friends and, of course, spending time with Patrick and Pete.
About Patrick:
Patrick graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in December 2005 and has since been working as a customer service representative at Citizen's Bank. His favorite things to do include spending time with Megan and Pete, running, playing poker, and corrupting Megan into becoming a total Braves-obsessed sports junkie. (Mission accomplished.)
How We Met:
Megan and I met doing volunteer work our sophomore year at Pitt. We both joined, and later managed, an organization called Shoes that Fit. We collected donations of new shoes and winter clothing for underpriviledged children in Pittsburgh schools.
Our Song:
In the summer of 2005, Megan and I went to see a Kenny Chesney - Keith Urban concert at Heinz Field. Before Keith Urban started playing "our song" Making Memories of Us, he prefaced it by saying that he wrote that song about "a love so strong that you can't help waking up every morning more in love than you were the day before." I knew right then that it would be the first song we danced to when we got married.
