I suppose I should start
by telling you that I have many, many chat
friends since I have been online and chatting
over 3 years now. I met Mel and Morgen
in person in Niagara Falls on March 1,1999 and
we became even closer friends. Now the adventure begins. I
received an e-mail one day from Robo telling me to please
take him by proxy to the wedding. He asked me to take a sock
and dress it in a make-shift tux,
and give him his forever hanging cigerette
from his mouth and his coffee stained shirt
(typical writer attire), and I took off on his
idea and did just
that! Enjoy you're trip along with us and
share our laughs and giggles... and I'd love to

After we spent a few hours helping to decorate the
church and set up for the reception the "Future Friends"

Two of my very best
friends are
Cute Lil Goddess...aka/Mel...and Felix D Kat
...aka/Morgen. Mel and I met first and we became
chat buddies in the Chathouse in a room called
the Fallout Shelter. We moved a while ago to
a room
called the Future. After a while Morgen came into
the picture and soon it was true love for Mel and
Morgen. They were married on June 19,1999 in
Waverly Iowa, which is where Mel is from. They
now live in Hamilton,Ontario Canada, which is
where Morgen is from.
Falling into this scenario is
"Robosock"...aka/Rob (who is a wonderful writer) and is one of the nicest men I
could ever hope to meet (and hopefully will one day in person)...
He and his wonderful Fiance` Karen...aka/Kaz are from
Australia.. I'm not sure when exactly it was we met....
I do know it was
sometime in the Fall of 1998...
Robosock wanted to
join us but of course it would have been a
very long swim ...*LOL* , So Robo was not along on that
trip.
Oh the fun we had on our trip, which started
June 12th 1999 in my home town of Syracuse New York,
traveling by car
via Ontario Canada ..where we stayed a few days and met some
other online chat friends then
on through Detroit Michigan ,and into
Gary Indiana, through Chicago Illinois and on into Waverly Iowa...
where we stayed a while for the wedding,
then reversed our trip and returned
to New
York on June 28th 1999 *S*
I'm still giggling
about the things we did!
I had so much fun.!!!
Once the "sock" and I got to Iowa...we were almost
inseperable (note the almost). The pictures I
have posted here will semi tell the story,
but the whole story and the original pictures and the "sock"
are now circulating Australia via Rob and Kaz
and their families.
