Linda and I have been married for 4 years. I have been a member of the Canadian Military for 28 years and am currently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I will be moving to Ottawa in Aug 2000 where I will be employed as the Career Manager for Naval Electronics Technicians (NE TECHS).

Besides my family, I have but one interest and that is riding my motorcycle. I have a 1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade. We are members of a motorcycle club called the Defenders. We ride for fun and raise money for CHAMPS of Canada (Child Amputees). We have raised an average of $10,000 in each of the last 3 years. As a club, we try to improve the image of bikers, stressing safety and courteous driving. We enjoy supporting other clubs, going to weekend runs and taking vacations together.
Family
Besides Linda, I have two sons, Andrew and Chris, a stepson Jason and a yellow lab named Cassidy. All the boys are out on their own (thank God). My father Fred and brother Mike both live in Morpeth, Ontario, while my sister Jane works as a graphic artist and lives in Mexico. My Dad was made an honorary member of the Defenders 2 years ago when he hosted myself and 7 other members at his home for a week. Check out some of the pictures of that trip further down.
Friends
Most of my friends are fellow members of the Defenders. I consider Wink, Graham, Bryan and Kevin as my closest. (of course their wives, Kathy, Lynda, Lovie and Hilarie would have to be included in that list). We have travelled as a group to Nashville, my Dad's in Ontario (where we survived a tornado) toured the Gaspe, and all points in between. We have helped each other out in many ways: built rock walls, roofed and painted each others houses and they have helped me move 5 times in 4 years. The only payment we looked for was some good food. There is always plenty of that. Maybe you can tell from some of the pictures??
