(Concerning biographical data on my web page: birthdates, marriages, deaths, etc. come from the Currie bible which my father said belonged to the first W.C. Currie. Some data has come from "the cousins" that are also working on the family history. I have gotten some dates from graveyards. Also, Aunt Annie E. Currie and Cousin Alice Gilfoil, i.e., Sister Scholastica, who was Aunt Kate S. Currie Gilfoil's daughter, kept very good family records. And, let me also mention that our 93 year old cousin, William Gilfoil, sends information on the original Curries, Gilfoils, Rileys, Coles and Richards to me on a regular basis by letter; not only about them, but also about life at Neely Plantation and surrounding plantations with sketches of all. I will get it on this web page eventually
NOT EVERYTHING IS CARVED IN STONE. And, like one cousin says: "even when it is, it is not necessarily correct")
I intend to put the handwritten copies of all letters beside the typed copies that I have already put up. It takes time, folks, to get all of these things scanned; particularly, when one has no scanner. There are a couple at the computer center; but, that's a bit of a drive. So, the scanning waits.
