This July 4th 1878 note, accompanying a gift, was written to Aunt Annie E.
Currie by a J. Magruder. I do not know where either of them were at this
time. (The seal on the letter has "Holyoke Co" on it, which could mean
anything). Aunt Annie would have been 17 years old at this time.

Believe me: my good wishes wil ever with this gift follow you whatever may happen. And with it then also goes a pleasant hope of a place in your memory in after years. Yours faithfully and forever J.
