| At the end of our season, When emotion shatters the sky like the rain. You might think, "Funny how the northern sky warms my soul Like a really good friend." And you may ponder the person That the magic of time has made you. And you may gaze about and be surprised At how little has changed And I love you Like the skyline and the seasons passing through. When blue sky turns to winter When the frost lines our thoughts and our hearts Pictures of us, like snowflakes, will fall deep in your mind And you'll remember a friend And then one day, in the summer, You'll remember that change has a reason. Memories, like sun, will show bright on your face For the change. |
