Standards were low and technical ability lower in that early effort. But there was a lot of heart and Dan was in period of relative prolific-ness, songwriting-wise. Pat helped out a lot on Johnson Street and was doing much 4-track experimenting & songwriting of his own in those days.
It was in the spirit of a sort of tribute to Johnson Street that the name for this new project was chosen.
Dan now lives in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis, and is loving every minute of it.
