| When Samm came home from a 4-H meeting one night 10 years ago and said he had signed up for the Geneology Project, John and I both asked him, "WHY", we could certainly tell him anything he wanted to know -- Right!!! Wrong!!! My Grandfather came to the United States from Yugoslavia in the early 1900's -- he left behind his parents and two brothers. We had no idea what had happened to any of these relatives. Samm got busy and sent around 20 letters to Stefanides' all over the world -- 1 person answered the letter he had recieved, that person turned out to be my cousin, Paul, from Australia. I'd like to "introduce" you to a few of my "Aussie" cousins now!!! |
| Please "meet" my cousin, Paul, and his wife, Anna!! Paul answered Samm's letter after about a month. We were so happy!! We've kept in touch by mail and phone for 10 years now -- hopefully -- maybe we'll be able to meet face to face someday!! |

| My family lost contact with this side of the family in 1946 -- shortly after the death of my Grandfather. Since "finding them, we have also "met" George, his daughter, Rebecca, and now his new wife, Debra. Most recently, 9-28-03, the youngest brother, Michael, has made contact with us and "introduced" himself to us. It's so fantastic to be in touch with family members that I thought were impossible to find!! |
