Jesus Is Coming
Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
That statement is repeated 4 times in Rev.
Jesus said:
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
I believe that Jesus told the truth in everything He said. Everything He predicted would happen has happened. I am sure this one will, too. He said He was coming back for us. I believe Him.
The angels predicted it, too.
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
They were there to see him off, and they will come back with Him.
Paul tells us He is coming back.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The writer of Hebrews says that He will come again.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
This time it will be different. The first time He came to die for sin. The next time He will come to judge them. Of course, those who are saved have been cleansed, freed, saved from sin. For the saints, He will come to reward.
The last words of Jesus, recorded in the last chapter and next to last verse of Revelation says it – "I come quickly".
