CHAPTER EIGHT
MISCELLANEOUS
- 8.1 REPRODUCTIONS
- Trinity Youth Ministries shall make every effort to ensure that all copyright laws are obeyed at all times.
- 8.1.1 Playing of illegally duplicated videos or music shall not be permitted at any Trinity Youth Ministries Activity.
- 8.1.2 No reproductions of music or lyrics shall be permitted without the express written permission of the copyright holder or permission to do so granted under the church's CCLI agreement. If copies are permitted, all copies shall include all copyright information as well as a notice that it was "Used by Permission" and the CCLI # if applicable.
- 8.2 STAFF STUDENT RATIOS
- 8.2.1 One Day Trips
- Any one day trip (one without an overnight stay) should have a staff to student ratio no greater than 1 to 10. This is an ideal. The event must be canceled if a ratio no greater than 1 to 15 can not be attained.
- 8.2.2 Overnight Trips
- 8.2.2a Any trip requiring an overnight stay should have a staff to student ratio no greater than 1 to 5. This is an ideal. The event must be canceled if a ratio no greater than 1 to 8 can not be reached.
- 8.2.2b Any overnight trip attended by both male and female students must have both male and female staff. Furthermore, every attempt should be made to ensure the male/female ratio of staff matches as closely as possible to the male/female ration of participants.
- 8.3 PERMISSION SLIPS
- 8.3.1 Every participant attending an out of town Youth Ministries activity shall be required to submit a permission slip, signed by themselves or their parent or guardian if they are a minor, including a medical release form and a Acknowledgment of Risk/Release of Liability form, as recommended by the Church's insurance carrier. For the current form see Form 8.1.
- 8.3.2 Participants in Youth Ministries activities that require regular out of town trips (e.g. Bible Quizzing, LEAD, etc.) shall complete an annual permission slip at the start of that activity which shall cover all trips in the course of that activity for the year.
- 8.4 RATIFICATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MANUAL
- This Manual and any changes to it, shall be approved by a two-thirds majority of the youth council, as well as be approved by the Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor and Local Church Board.
