| Vision for High Rock 1. Youth Development a) Pursue the establishment of a Library where students and adults can study, research and read. b) Continue to support the after school programs in Tennis and other sports. c) Establish through corporate and community help and after school programs to further train our students in the use of computer. d) Establish through voluntary services a weekend program to help students in various subject areas. e) Encourage parental involvement in their school and extracurricular activities of their children. f) Promote the establishment of a career/college preparation program for ninth Graders so they would have better defined goals for their high school education. 2. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and the Grand Bahama Port Authority, pursue the establishment of a pilot home delivery mail system. 3. Work to ensure that all buildings and grounds in Local Government control are properly maintained. Move to establish a preventative maintenance program to avoid deterioration. 4. Pursue the establishment of enclosed overhead street crossings for our students crossing East Sunrise Highway. 5. Through the Royal Bahamas Police Force, promote the establishment of community crime watch groups. 6. Create a family type park for quiet time and family picnics. 7. Consultative representation on all major issues affecting the residents of High Rock. 8.
