Daryl has suffered greatly this season from an apparent lack of intelligence. Although travelling by bus and then train to matches he does quite often get it wrong. Excuses this season have ranged from "I got on the wrong train and ended up in Portchester" to "No-one told ME the clocks went forward!" On the pitch Daryl has been the find of the season. His skill, strength and determination on the ball all help to make Daryl a great player. Daryl has taken more stick than anyone else this season and has had to deal with more kicks than any other player as opponents try to deal with his "Rubber Legs." Daryl quite often makes mistakes defensively as he is much more confident running the ball out of defense rather than trying to pass it out. This may be because Daryl can't pass to save his life. Luckily Daryl usually gets away with running the ball out of defense as it somehow sticks to his feet like glue. Daryl is the undisputed winner of slice of last season after he was encouraged to shoot from the edge of the box against Southsea Athletic and his shot ended up going for a throw-in level with where he shot from. Another myth about Daryl is his inability to shoot. He has claimed a a goal which was hit against his shins against Ferrari Royals but it wasn't until the last game of the season when he shocked the whole team with a dipping volley from the right-hand touch-line around 30 yards out which just fell the wrong side of the cross-bar. Daryl will improve with time as he is relatively inexpeienced and this season could prove a stormer for him.
