Geoff, or Psycho as he is better known, couldn't be more suited to B League football. He was the only member of the team who adapted straight away to the stresses and strains. What Geoff lacks in skill he makes up for ten times over in agression and determination to win. Geoff doesn't look very comfortable when on the ball as it seems as though he never quite has it under control but when he goes on one of his runs there is no stopping him. He is the master of spectacular goals. Last season running from the half-way line and scoring and sliding in a shot from fully 25 yards as well as last seasons goal of the season in which he ran from penalty box to penalty box before scoring. Although he doesn't keep his spectacular goals at the same end. Again last season he scored an own goal through a looping header and who can forget that 20 yard lob over Chris King's head from the edge of the box. Geoff to say the least is strong in the tackle and is definately the most likely to get sent off out of all the Drayton players. His route one football was very useful in the early part of last season as he was the only one of the defense strong enough to hoof the ball clear and towards the end of the season his goal-kicking brought chance after chance for the strikers although this season with a change of tactics by trying to pass the ball out of defence Geoff has sometimes struggled. In my opinion Geoff was been Drayton's player of the season last season. Sadly Geoff picked up a serious knee injury and will play no further part in Drayton's plans this season and may have played his last ever game for the club.
