The Weather has so far been very challenging in that no game was played between 1st October and 17th December

There are now more games than weekends available, and there will be a meeting of the league managers when we should have a better idea of what will happen.

Tracksuit Top - Special Price Deal for Drayton Athletic at ONLY £10

A suggestion from the boys was that they liked the idea of a team tracksuit top. Mick brought a sample to the training weekend which the boys liked very much. The idea is for a tracksuit top with a badge for our club. The normal cost of these is around £20, however, if we can get sufficient orders we can get them for ONLY £10.

Subscriptions for the second half of the season are now due. Will you pay these in the next 2 weeks to Jeremy Betteridge or to Ian Hawke with the tracksuit order form. Amount due £25 with cheques payable to "Drayton Athletic Football Club".

Training: Despite the poor weather and no games, the lads are to be commended for the excellent turnout and enthusiasm for training. Well done to everyone and of course the training staff.

Tour: We are now in the final planning stages and will provide you with further details shortly. One change we will have to introduce is the means of transport. The total number travelling is less than we had hoped, which now makes a coach, our preferred method of transport, unaffordable. We are looking at two minibuses, with seat belts to maintain the approximate cost previously provided.
