Martin has really suffered with the strength of the B League game. He is one of the most skillful players at the club and probably the best finisher in the team. Last season he has lived up to his nick name of Solskjaer scoring 3 times after coming off the bench. Martin is one of anly a handful of Clanfield players to have tasted upper league success in the past as he won the B Division in 1997 as part of Fratton Boys but since switching to Clanfield he has been unable to hold down a regular place in the team sometimes not even making the match-day squad. Martin does lack a yard or two of pace and his fitness has come into question on a handful of occasions in the past few months but with the occasional trip to training i'm sure that will improve sufficiently. Unfortunutely the future looks quite bleak for Martin as I can't see him getting into the team much this season without a speight of injuries for other players or unavailability.
