| *Francis Passmore Married Catherine Matthews in St Mary's R.C Church, Chapel lane, Belfast 15th Feb 1873 *He lived in Barrick St. off Divis St. Belfast * Francis's brother, John emigrated and lived for a time in McKees Port, Pennsylvania. There is a record of his nephew James visiting him there in 1897 *James Passmore & Grace McAdorey are buried in Hannahstown cementry, not far from Belfast. * Griffiths Tithe records 1848-1864 show James to be a property owner in that area. *Catherine's Parents were Hugh Matthews & Jane McLoughlin from Pond St. off Divis St * Catherine re-married after Francis died at the age of 22 * Her children were then brought up in the protestant religion in the Shankill Road area of Belfast. |
